At Publix, I specialized in designing various print and digital creative materials, including advertisements, illustrations, posters, direct mail, and more. I conceptualized and crafted wayfinding signage, environmental graphics, and exhibit displays for events and conferences, ensuring seamless navigation and impactful visual experiences. Additionally, I collaborated with philanthropy partners to develop large-scale graphics for mobile food pantry trucks, tailoring designs to meet the unique needs of each partner organization.
Publix Monopoly

Scope: Publix wanted to create a Publix-themed Monopoly board that had subtle nods to all of the things customers love about the store. That item would then be given to all Publix store managers and put on Publix's online merchandise platform.
Role: As the graphic designer and illustrator, I researched vintage Publix stores for design inspiration, particularly drawn to the mid-century architecture of the early stores. I created icons that matched the original Monopoly style for each "business," aligning with brand guidelines from Hasbro and Publix, and expanded the color palette beyond Publix's shades of green. The box lid artwork I explored many iterations, including incorporating Publix founder, Mr. George as the Monopoly man, before shifting focus to a mid-century Publix illustration. The resulting vibrant Publix board game was a hit, selling out in a day and winning 4 awards at the 2024 Addy’s, including Best of Show. Danielle Douglin created the Monopoly money and community and chance cards.

Publix and United Way logo
Scope: Each year, Publix partners with United Way to orchestrate internal and external campaigns to rally support and raise funds for the noble causes championed by United Way. As part of their ongoing commitment, they embarked on a quest for a revitalized theme and logo to invigorate this year's initiatives.
Role: As the designer for this campaign, I spearheaded the conceptualization of the theme, logo, and overall brand identity for the new Publix & United Way look. From ideation to execution, I sketched various glyphs to accompany our theme options. These sketches served as the foundation for further logo exploration, as I refined them through vectorization and transformed them into dynamic patterns. These patterns serve as a unifying visual, adaptable to a diverse range of United Way merchandise, ensuring brand consistency across Publix and United Way.

Mobile Food Pantries
Scope: Publix partnered with 27 food pantries across Florida to help bring food to underserved areas. Each food pantry received a truck of their choice with accompanying produce-themed graphics.
Role: I worked on creating the graphics for 24 of the mobile food pantries throughout 2023 and 2024. Each mobile food pantry was unique in its specifications, which brought a new challenge to each one.
